Serves 2

  • 2 Cups Bacon (or Fatback) Béchamel

  • 1 Cup Black Eyed Peas

  • 6 Small Stuffed Cabbage Rolls (stuffed w/ lucky grains, lentils, wild rice, long noodles)

  • 1 Large Ready. Chef. Go!® Microwave and Oven Dual Compartment Bag

Put the stuffed cabbage rolls into one side of the large size dual compartment bag.  Load the black-eyed peas into the other compartment of the dual bag then top w/ the bacon béchamel.  When plating, the peas will come out on top of the sauce for an attractive presentation.  Seal the bags.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Microwave on high for 3 ½ to 4 mins or bake 20 to 25 mins in conventional or toaster oven or air fryer.  Let bag rest for 3 mins to complete cooking.  Garnish w/ colorful mustard seed oil, pomegranate seeds, radicchio & boozy soaked kumquats.  Serve with your favorite bubbly, champagne, cava, prosecco, kombucha hard or no alcohol options.

NOTE: Ready.Chef.GO! bags allow for excellent texture in the microwave & fast high heat cooking in the oven.  Organic, eco & humane ingredients preferred.  The results are always succulent & tender.  You’ll taste the difference.  No prep time required & virtually no clean up.  Celebrate New Year’s Eve with every lucky food tradition you can find from around the world, all rolled up in Eastern European Lucky Cabbage Rolls including mung bean sprouts (Asia), wild rice (Indigenous Americas), black eyed peas, fat back, bacon (American South), long noodles (China, Japan, Korea), greens for health (world-wide), pomegranate (Greece), kumquats & other citrus for prosperity (Asia), lentils for wealth (Italy), grains & beans for abundance & prosperity (world-wide).
