Steak Fajitas

4 Ingredient Series

Serves 4 to 6

  • 15 Ounces Flank, Skirt or Ribeye Steak, thick hearty slices
  • 1 ½ Tbs Fajita Spice Blend (Everson)
  • 10 Ounces Fajita Vegetable Blend (colorful peppers, red & yellow onions, shishito peppers, rainbow carrots)
  • ¾ Cup Fajita Marinade Sauce* or try a prepared sauce from your favorite purveyor like Everson

*EASY FAJITA MARINADE SAUCE (Yield ¾ Cup)

  • 2/3 Cup Orange Juice
  • 3 Tbs Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbs Sliced Garlic
  • 1 ½ Tbs Favorite Fajita Spice Blend, low or no sodium (Everson)

Slice the steak into hearty thick strips.  Massage the fajita spice blend into the meat.  If using dual compartment bags put the seasoned organic steak strips into one compartment.  Put the veggies into the other compartment & pour in the fajita marinade sauce.  If using standard bags, load the fajita veggies in first & top w/ the seasoned steak.  Pour in the fajita sauce marinade.  Seal the bags.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Microwave for 5 mins on high or roast in 350 oven or toaster oven for 25 mins.  Let rest in bag 2 mins before opening.  Garnish w/ grated cheese, fresh herbs (oregano, cilantro, rose geranium, lavender), pickled jalapeños, lemon wedges, crema, fresh tomatoes, more!

NOTE:  Ready. Chef.
