Beef Tips with Brussels Sprouts

Here’s a simple yet delicious dish that can be prepared in the microwave, oven or on the grill.

Serves 3-4

  • 16 oz of beef tips
  • ½ cup of beef broth
  • Chopped shallot
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon of dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon of thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz of Brussels sprouts, halved

Combine the beef broth, chopped shallot, minced garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings in a mixing bowl. Stir all of the ingredients in the bowl together. Add the beef tips and Brussels sprouts to the mixing bowl and coat evenly. Place all of the ingredients in a Ready. Chef. Go!® Grilling bag, remove the adhesive strip, and securely seal the bag. Preheat the grill on a medium to low temperature setting for 10 to 15 minutes.

Place the filled Grilling bags on the grill with the foil side facing down and cook with the grill’s lid open at all times. Gradually monitor the food as it slowly cooks; the bag will inflate and moisture will build up inside. After 25 to 30 minutes, the food should be cooked. Take the bags off of the grill with gloves or tongs and let them sit for a minute to cool off. Cut the corner of the bag and drain any excess liquids and then plate your meal to serve.
