Slow Cooker Lobster Mac & Cheese

3 Ingredient Series

Serves 6 to 8

  • 1 Pound Maine Lobster Tails (shells removed)
  • 1 Pound Favorite Pasta (I used half pound each cavatappi & trottoli – nice & curly)
  • 2 Quarts Cheese Sauce (use your favorite prepared cheese sauce or our home Ready Chef GO! easy version below)

Slow Cooker Bags.  Dice the lobster meat into large bite sized pieces.  Stir the dry pasta into the cheese sauce with about half of the lobster.  Load into bags & top w/ remaining lobster for hearty visual appeal.  Seal the bags.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Place sealed bag in slow cooker & set to 2 hours on high or 4 on low (low recommended).  Garnish w/ fresh herbs, chives, edible petals, grated cheeses, paprika & chili powder.

NOTE:  Ready. Chef. Go! bags allow for excellent texture in the microwave & fast cooking in the oven.  The results are always succulent & tender.  You’ll taste the difference.  Virtually no clean up.  Scrumptious & versatile.  Use any combo of cheese sauce mixed w/ various cream soups like cream of celery, bacon, potato, mushroom, etc. for added flavor combos.

  • 1 Quart Buttermilk
  • ¼ Cup Butter
  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese
  • 14 Ounces Grated Cheese Blend (Mozzarella, Cheddar & Gouda)
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbs Paprika (hot, sweet or smoked)
  • 2 Tbs Prepared Dijon or Whole Grain Mustard
  • (Opt) 1 Medium Shallot, minced or 1 Tbs Onion Flakes
  • (Opt) 1 Clove Garlic, minced or 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

Combine all in a quality sauce pan with good heat conduction & bring to a simmer over med heat until fully melted & incorporated.  Whisk frequently.
