Sweet Thai Salmon

A little spicy, a little sweet, Sweet Thai Salmon has a lot of flavor. Combine this dish with your favorite vegetable for an amazing meal in no times at all.

Serves 1

  • 1 6-8 ounce salmon filet
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1½ tablespoons of Sriracha sauce or sweet red chili sauce
  • ½ tablespoon of light brown sugar
  • ½ knob of grated ginger (or ½ tablespoon of ground ginger)
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped scallion (for garnish)
  • 1 Ready. Chef. Go!® Microwave and Oven Steam Cooking Bag

Place salmon filet into one Ready. Chef. Go!® cooking bag. Mix together the soy sauce, Sriracha or sweet red chili sauce, brown sugar and ginger. Spread the sauce over the salmon, seal the bag, and microwave or bake in the bag. Microwave for 3 minutes. Or, for baking, set the oven to 350º and bake for 12 minutes.

Remove the bag from the microwave or oven. Slowly unseal or cut the bag with scissors (beware of steam) and plate your meal. Add chopped scallion as a garnish. Serve with steamed broccoli, asparagus, brussels sprouts, or medley of vegetables.
