This quick, healthy vegetarian dish can be put together from start to finish in as little as 15 minutes.

  • 2 Cups Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 Pound Yams, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 Pound Spinach, frozen
  • 1/4 Tsp Each Salt & Pepper
  • (Opt) 1 Tsp Favorite Spice Blend (Recipe used Everson California Blend)
  • 1 Ready. Chef. Go!® Microwave and Oven Steam Cooking Bag

Partially peel the yams and thinly slice on a mandolin as shown in the video. Combine all the ingredients and load them into standard or pouch Ready. Chef. Go! cooking bags. Seal the bags.

Conventional Oven: Preheat the oven to 375° F. Place the bag on a baking sheet and cook for 35 to 40 minutes.

Microwave: Place the bag on a microwave-safe dish and cook on Power Level 8 for 8 to 9 minutes. 

Let the bag rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs and citrus wedges.
