Thai Shrimp Noodles

Shrimp cooks perfectly moist and delicious in Ready. Chef. Go! Microwave and Oven cooking bags.

Serves 2 

  • 1 Tbs Thai Spice Blend
  • 2 Tbs Sesame Seeds (or hemp seeds)
  • ¼ Pound Shrimp, cleaned, tail on raw (Used eco-friendly wild-caught white gulf shrimp)
  • 2 Cups Favorite Veggie Mix (Used baby bok choy, scallion, shimeji & shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and Korean sweet green peppers)
  • 2 Tbs Tahi Curry Paste (green or red)
  • 1 Tbs Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1/3 Cup Broth (Vegetable, Chicken, or Fish)
  • 2 Oz Rice Noodles (soaked in cool water for 20 minutes, then drained)
  • Lime Slices
  • Garnish: fresh herbs and scallions or chives
  • 1 Ready. Chef. Go!® Microwave and Oven Bag

    Toss the cleaned shrimp with dry Thai spice and sesame seeds. Prep the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Toss with the soaked and drained rice noodles (rice vermicelli) as well as the Thai curry paste, toasted sesame oil, and broth. Use tongs to stir well to combine the flavors. Load the noodle vegetable mix into bags, add in several lime slices and lay the spice and seed coated shrimp on top. Sprinkle any extra seed mix around the shrimp. Seal the cooking bag.

    COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Microwave on high heat for 4 minutes or roast in a conventional or toaster oven at 350 for 18 to 20 minutes.

    Let rest 3 minutes before opening the bag. Garnish with flavorful fresh herbs (such as Thai basil, cilantro, mint, etc.) and scallions or chives.

    NOTE: Ready. Chef. Go! bags allow for excellent texture in the microwave and fast high heat cooking in the oven. The results are always succulent and tender. You’ll taste the difference. Virtually no clean up.
